Less is More ♡

Comfort in Christ ♡

I know that as graduation is approaching I'm dealing with change. Which in most cases isn't ideal, but I know that some changes can be good. But in order to stay grounded I need to be deep rooted in Christ. 

I just have to keep telling myself that God wouldn't put anything on me that I couldn't handle. And all of the things that I think I missed out on probably weren't meant for me in the long run. I'd rather have long lasting happiness than temporary happiness from what I thought I wanted but really didn't.

Greatness Is Within You♡

I would like to dedicate 2014 to you, all of my readers and followers. Even though you are not big in numbers, you are still an inspiration to me. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about what can I do next Thursday. This journey has just started and it has been one of the most fulfilling experiences in my life. I never thought that this small town girl from North Carolina would have people all the way in Malaysia and Germany chimming into what I have to say. All I've ever wanted to do with my life is inspire people to follow their dreams and be great.

I want people to know that you don't have to settle for less, you can be anything you want to be. Don't give up on your dreams, be GREAT! Being great is a choice, not something you luck up on. If you want something go get it or go do it. Like the picture says, be so good at it that they can't possibly ignore you. Make your presence seen and heard. You reading this right now is apart of my dream. I can only pray that you have the joy in your life that I get from making posts on my blog.

Why worry when everything is going to be alright ?

Just thought I'd share my little paraphrase or my favorite bible verse. Worrying about every little thing is something I struggle with sometimes. But I made Philippians 4:6-7 my wallpaper on my phone so when I needed to remember that, it was always there. Live in the moment and let God manifest everything else. Love you😘.

#MotivationMonday | Go Live the Adventure Called Life ♡

Happy Monday !! 

So a couple days ago I was totally inspired when I saw this picture. I've always wanted to travel the world. Something I'm sure you don't know about me is that I'm an explorer. I love to explore and find hidden gems. Not actual gems or anything but like hole in the wall kind of places. "Cool mom and pop shops." This sparked my interest to want to travel more and make more memories. 

One thing about my parents are that they always gave me the worse case scenario when it came to wanting to do something. So when I said I wanted to travel my dad, of course, brought up Taken... yes the movie. Now I'm not ignorant to the fact that traveling can be very dangerous, but I also can't live in fear my whole life and never live the adventure, quoting Fun For Louis. 

So I was scrolling I'm Instagram a couple days ago and the pastor I follow @RealTalkKim posted this picture. I literally got so excited because it was the first ever destination picture I seen and could say, "hey I've actually been there." That feeling is literally unexplainable. It was something that I never even knew I wanted. 

In a nutshell what I'm trying to say is live this life to the fullest. Do the things you have always said you wanted to do. If it's travel then maybe go across your country. If it's to be in a pageant try and register for one. If you want to do something make an educated decision by doing your research and follow your dreams. We only have one life to live. On our final days you don't want to say hey I'm not living my life like I wanted to. You don't get another chance.

#HopefulLaiMonday: There is a Reason For the Season♡

Hello my beautiful Dollies!

Welcome to my new and improved blog! So for the very first #MondayFunDay post is going to be a HopefulLai post! What that means is that I will be give some sort of inspiration and guidance. But I will only being giving it when I feel it to be just. So without further adue:

There are no mistakes made by God, everything that he does has a purpose. There is no milestone that is put in your life that is greater than our God, or that he puts in our lives that we can not handle. If you are here today reading this, then you too have already proven that. Even when your life gets ridiculously hard you have to trust and believe in him because trust me, he hasn't left you. Even if you are a non-believer or confused right now he still loves you. He may be disappointed, but nonetheless he is here and he is with you and loves you like crazy. 

There is indeed a reason for the season you're in my sweet sweet butterfly. Take the situation and make it fuel for the future. There is power in your testimony there is power in the situation good or bad. You might not see it now, but the purpose for your hurt is for a much greater need in your future. I don't know how or when you'll need it or start to be grateful for it but you will. The purpose of that situation will manifest to you. You have to be patient and stay focused on God. 

I love you but God loves you more,

Who Am I and What do I Stand for ?♡

Hello My Beautiful Dollies!

Today's post/video is a little different that what I usually post but I think it was worth sharing. I have had this "message"sitting on my heart for a while now. I wanted you guys to get a glimpse at who I really am and what I stand for. This is the whole reason I made a blog was to share myself with other people. But I felt like I was only giving you half of the picture, I didn't let you know who I was and what I wanted from life. I'm more than just the cool videos and blog posts, well I think their cool I kinda hope you do too. I am on the journey to share and gain inspiration to people trying to achieve their dreams. I might not be where I want to be right now but eventually I'll get there. With patience and faith in The Lord all things are possible.  I just really want to be there for you like a big sister or a momma bird helping you get out the nest and find what inspires you and getting lost in the wind with it. There is something exciting about not knowing what the future holds, I just pray that if I get what I ask and worked for, its what I actually wanted in the first place. So whether you want makeup or beauty tips,  product suggestions, or even a prayer or some advice, I really want to be there for you guys who read my blog and continue to support me. Though you might not be massive in numbers But I just want to let you know that I appreciate every little thing that you do from reading a post to sharing it with a friend. You guys are amazing and this journey wouldn't be possible without you guys here supporting and helping me. What's one of your long term goals ? ♡

This here is one of my aspirations. I want to work in the place that I love the most, my closet. Every fashionista dreams of their dream closet. Now me being thee A Fashionistas Babydoll I have to make this dream a reality. A Fashionista dreams but her babydoll lives out her dreams. 

Don't be afraid of chasing your dreams even if no ones there to catch you if you fall. Take a leap of faith, fight for what you believe in. Be the dream not the dreamer. Be the babydoll not the fashionista.
